Suggest Treatment For Anorexia

Hi, I m 16 years old, 5ft. 6in. and about 88 lbs. I ve always been on the slimmer end but for about a year now I believe I have a mild case of anorexia. I still eat but not as much as I should. That is a problem within itself, however, a side effect of the eating disorder has been the loss of my period for about a year now. Is that dangerous? Also, is it because of my eating habits? What can I do????

Hello
Loss of period for one year means amenorrhea , this is a cause of concern so consult a gynecologist and get his opinion ( if previous periods were regular ).
You are having anorexia i.e. loss of appetite. May be due to : tension , anxiety or so many other reasons, but use these drugs which may increase your appetite.
1 Buclizine hydrochloride 2 -2 tablet one hour before each meal .
2 Cyproheptadine+ sorbitol + tricholin syrup 2 T S F two times in day before lunch and dinner ( one hour ).
3 Some enzyme preparation after meal as it will help in digestion of food.
Still no improvement then consult a physician and get his opinion.
Good luck.
