Suggest Treatment For A Lump In The Thyroid Gland

HI I have had a serious of tests done for overactive thyroids I have a lump in my thyroid about 3.6 cm by 1.7 it is benign an have an enlarged goiter my last reading was for thyroid stimulating hormone was 0.07mU/L an my free thyroxine 18pmo1/L an my free T3 is 4.1 pmo1/L my specialist is away an I cant get hold of him my last reading for my thyroxine stimulating hormone was .14 so it is now worse even tho I have started medication for it do u have any idea why it wood be like this an why

Hi,Thanks for consulting at HCM.
You most likely have toxic nodule secreting excess thyroid hormone.For symptomatic treatment a drug from the b-blockers is started along with antithyroid drugs to make you euthyroid.
Definitive treatment is surgery after control.You need a scan also.If nodule is removed you may be normal without taking any drug.
