Hello,

You have history of sinus since 20 years. Now you are having throbbing headache, sinus may trigger migraine.

You are suggested to stay well hydrated, avoid exposure in sunlight & bright light. Stay in cool comfortable environment.

Migraine causes throbbing or pulsing pain & is triggered by stress, loud noises, certain foods, or changes in the weather.

Avoid spicy, oily junk food. Maintain your eating time. Take small meals multiple times a day.

You are suggested to get clinically examined by an ENT. Get all required Blood & Imaging tests done to rule out deviated nasal septum & complications of chronic sinusitis.

To reduce pressure & pain you may require decongestants, antihistamines, or antibiotics. For migraine you will require analgesics like acetaminophen to anti-inflammatory like naproxen or ibuprofen (Motrin). Stay away from addictions if any.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K
