Suggest Remedy For Pain In The Elbow From An Injury

I injured my right elbow several weeks ago loading firewood in a wheel barrel. It was almost healed and I re-injured it doing the same thing. I picked up a piece of wood to toss and pain shot through my elbow worse than before. Its been since January 10th. I am 64 years old and I bowl once a week. Needless to say I have not been able to do much of anything.

Hi,
Thanks for your question.
I do understand your pain and discomfort.
As per your history is concerned please follow:-
1)Do a clinical examination by your local doctor to ruled out any ligament or tendon injury in detail
2)Do [RICE]rest, ice, compression, elevation [a local doctor will guide you how to do it with tight compression for few days ,otherwise it will not heal
3)Take [3PIN]to control pain and inflammation and if possible do a X-ray
wait and observe for 10 days

I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me.
Wishing you all the best.
Thanks
