I m going crazy for 6 months now - now it is worse. Ordinarily I ONLY go to drs for annual checkups and that is it. Other than being treated for a diagnosis of osteoporosis at 53 years old, I m fine and my bone density is good now.I have good eye site, but I have severe floaters (appear to be bugs, cobwebs, etc, black in color - so many of them particarly in my left eye with pain and now forming in my right eye. It s driving me crazy. I can t take it. Makes me dizzy and it is only getting worse. I ve seen a couple of retinol specialist in Boston and they basically say it is the normal aging process. I have a difficult time believing this is normal and wonder if something else is causing this. I can t live like this anymore. They prefer not to operate. It s killing me and my quality of life.Honestly I prefer not to go on than to live like this and I normally am an optimistic active person. Summertime is my most favorite time of year and I have remained indoors on the weekend.I was given bloodwork by a dr foster at Mersi Clinic in Cambridge. Thought perhaps pain was due to uvetis maybe. His bedside manner was horrible - despite his reputation. I did come out with an ANA positive reading 1:320 speckled. He would not explain it to me - was condescending. I m going to see a rheumatologist at BI in August to see if they can explain the results and wonder if it has anything to do with my eyes.I live alone - divorced - no family - mom passed away 3 years ago etc. I need to find s/o whom I can trust and help me.
