Suggest Remedy For Dry Eyes

I suffer from dry eyes and also what my Doctor calls 'Blethalitis' (can't spell it). I used to use a solution called Eye-lid care which I obtained on prescription. They have now stopped making this and only do wipes with the solution already on. These tend to 'burn' when I use them. Is there any other remedy or solution I can use. I have tried the bicarb of soda but this didn't work.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having blepharitis which indicates inflammation of the eye lid margin. Since the eyelid margin contains meibomian glands which secrete lipid layer of the tear film it is common to have tear film abnormalities leading to dry eye in case of blepharitis.
The treatment of the condition is by use of artificial tears and treatment of the underlying blepharitis by use of lid scrubs and antibiotic eye ointment. Blepharitis tends to run a long course and hence treatment may be required for a relatively long period.

Thank you
