Suggest Remedy For Constant Drip In Throat With Breathing In Spasmodic Fashion In Elderly

I am an athletic 65 year old male who still plays racquetball at the Men s A level. I have a constant drip in the back of my throat. Not into my nasal passages just into the back of my throat. A constant cough brought on by this and brief tightness of my chest and some shallow breathing in spasmodic fashion. I am not affected during my racquetball matches. well able to oxygenate as needed.

Hi,
These symptoms indicate you are likely to have nasal polyps. These can usually be treated by using a nasal steroid spray to shrink the polyps. I suggest you see your doctor who will need to prescribe this. If this does not relieve your symptoms then surgery is usually indicated for larger polyps.
