Suggest Medications For Leg Cramps In Elderly Males
I am a 64 year old vet with bad leg cramps. I do have a heart condition and on dialysis (which the VA hospital brought on by an error on their part. What causes these cramps and what can I take or not take to rid my self of these awful cramps? Thanks for your help. Gary Please send your reply to my friend, YYYY@YYYY
Welcome and thanks for your query. Since you have kidney failure and on dialysis, your activated Vitamin D3 and the ionized calcium in the blood would be low. This is a usual cause for cramps. It would improve if you take 1 alpha D3 and Calcium tablets.
Do get back to me if you have further queries.
