Suggest Medication For Weight Loss

I weigh around 88kg, I m 5 5 . I started working out on a regular schedule a few weeks ago and I ve been doing a lot of work over the holidays specifically because I didn t want to gain weight. I ve always been active and I do have a lot of muscle but there s a bit of fat in there too, a little around my lower abdomin (tummy), some where my arms meet my shoulders, and in my upper thighs. I m a 19 year old female and I was just wondering if it s the muscle that s pushing my weight so high or if it s the problem areas aforementioned. I don t have a thyroid problem and I have a relatively healthy diet. I don t eat much, before I came home for the holidays I was accustomed to eating one meal per day. Is there something I should do or something I m doing wrong?

Hi welcome to hcm,
I understand your query and concern.
Here are some of the following suggestions:
Prepare more of your own meals. Cooking more meals at home can help you take charge of what you’re eating and better monitor exactly what goes into your food.
Make the right changes. When cutting back on unhealthy foods in your diet, it’s important to replace them with healthy alternatives. Replacing animal fats with vegetables fats (such as switching butter for olive oil) will make a positive difference to your health. Switching animal fats for refined carbohydrates, though (such as switching your breakfast bacon for a donut), won’t lower your risk for heart disease or improve your mood.
Drugs like Orlistat can be helpful.
In resistant cases bariatric surgery is promising these days.
Consult your surgeon for expert management,
Post your further queries if any,
Thank you
