Suggest Medication For Swelling, bruise And Causing Blood Clots In Lower Leg
My boyfriend got in a motocross accident 4 years ago and a foot peg went through his leg and it got really infected so they had to let his leg heal from the inside out. he now has a big scar on his lower leg is prone to blood clots and his leg will get swollen in that area after standing on it for long periods of time. recently after a few hours at work his leg hurts under his scar and it hurts to touch and he claims it feels bruised underneath his scar. but there is no discoloration. any ideas what it could be?
Hi thanks for asking question. Here your scar might be infected according to history given. Proper examination of that area is necessary to give further comment. It is better to do x ray of that area also to rule out underlying bruise like lesion or any other cause. Sometime after injury, on long duration there might be reactive metaplasia. For getting pain relief take simple analgesic. If it is infected then antibiotic needed. I hope my suggestion will help you.thanks
