Should I Consult The Doctor For The Blood In Urine?

Hi. I am a health conscious active man age 73 and have recently had good results from a blood test. However, I have small amounts of blood in the urine. I have been sexually active with several women. Should I be going to see some sort of specialist?

Hello
After reading your post, I would advise that you should get your urine examined for culture and sensitivity test along with an ultrasound of KUB region. I am not sure if these tests are already done.
Common causes of blood in urine include urinary tract infection or stone in the urinary tract. The above mentioned Investigations will help in diagnosing the cause.

I would advise that you should drink lots of water daily.
See a Urologist in case of any doubts
Discuss this with your doctor and then decide
Hope this helps
