QI cannot feel my middle finger on my right hand,

QI cannot feel my middle finger on my right hand, can barely feel my pointer finger or thumb on the same hand. I did have a box fracture but did not feel the effects until a month after returning to work. I have had similar simptoms in the past at night with numbness but was always able to get the feeling back after laying my arm over the side of the bed. I'm unsure if this is the same problem as my brace and arm position do not give any relief?

I ve been having pain in the back of my left hand since lifting a heavy object 3 months ago. I have discontinued exercising requiring use of the hands (specifically push-up) in an attempt to allow some mending to occur. Today I felt a quick but sharp pain in the same spot while lifting a mattress; but, have just ten minutes ago begun feeling that same sensation even though the hand is immobile - viewing a game on TV. Finally, I can induce the pain s sensation by pressing the index finger of my right hand between the finger joints closest to the back of my hand - those fingers are the middle and fourth finger. When the injury first occurred, I felt/heard a very minor sounding snap or crunch. I have N ice pack on the hand as I m typing this ... advice or estimate of what s going on? Thank you, Dr. Bob YYYY@YYYY

My fingers on both hands are stiff, the middle two cannot be fully straightened. There is soreness at the base of the middle finger of the right hand which feels like inflammation. There have been occasions where my right hand has curled during sleep and had to be uncurled with help from the other hand. I was treated for trigger finger years ago while still working and attributed it to possible repetitive use of a computer mouse. My guess is some form of arthritis as I am nearing my 71st birthday.
