Often Styes, Swollen, Pus Formation. On Ointment. Not Healing?

I get styes fairly often. I have had 5 in the last 6 months. I have one on going now. It has been 4 days and I am not seeing improvement with ointment. First, is there something I can do yo help keep this from happening? Second, other than warm compresses and the ointment I was given is there anything else I fan do to help with the current one ad it doesn't seem yo be improving and my eye is extremely swollen and has started pussing?

Welcome to HCM.
Pus formation and swelling indicates severe spreading infection.
It usually occurs in the hair root of eye lids.
You have to start oral antibiotic like amoxy/clavulinic to subside the infection and nsaid to subside the pain, swelling and inflammation.
Local application of neomycin eye ointment is advisable.
Take proper local care.Clean your eyes properly after coming home every time.
Wear glasses during two wheeler drive and during shopping in the market.
Sometime it requires surgical removal.
Get examined by ophthalmologist for better guidance and proper medical management.
