The problems with the baby occur when the woman is Rh negative. Since your daughter is positive, there should be no problem. What happens with a mother who is Rh negative is that her body builds up antibodies to the Rh factor during the first pregnancy when the baby is positive. Then if she gets pregnant with a second baby that is also Rh positive, those antibodies will attack the fetus and cause serious problems to it. But if the mother is also positive, she does NOT build antibodies and there is no problem. So not to worry. Hope this answers your query.
