Is There Any Genetic Complications In Marrying One S Own Sister S Daughter?

Hi, Doctor my name is Bhaskar from Andhra pradesh,INDIA.. My parents were settled my marriage with my own sister s daughter(my father s daughter s daughter).. what complications will face in future generation.. please suggest weather to proceed for marriage or shall i drop..what type of problems to be face in genetic way...

If i was your family physician,i would not have advised to proceed for the marriage.Actually consanguineous marriage(Marriage between two persons of the same ancestoral origin) may have chances of inborn metabolic disorders,growth anomalies in their Offsprings( future generation) due to low genetic variations,high chances of getting both copies of genes defective.Hope i have answered your question.If further questions,happy to help you.

Hello there,
If you marry a near relative like your uncle's daughter you will be exposed to a whole lot of genetic illness. There are these genes we call recessive genes which get expressed more in people who marry close relatives. I know in a family sometimes marriage is pushed through for financial or sentimental reasons but you are putting your future children in danger.
