Is Slow-paced Urination, Without Any Infection, Normal For Elderly Women?

Hello, i have a question regarding my Mother of age 89. She recently has noticed that when she has to urinate it is a slow trickle and doesn't feel like its coming out all the way. she said after that happened last week, then it flowed okay and is back again. she said there is no pain such as with an infection. is this typical for her age? Are there any over the counter or homeopathic products to help with this problem?

slow trickle of urine at the age of 89 could be due to urinary track infection. But most of the times it is age related.Just rule out UTI by doing her urine routine & microscopy examination.IF it comes normal, wait for few days.It may subside on its own.Avoid any OTC medicines for this issue. If the problem persists consult your family doctor.
