Is My Hubby Suffering From Memory Loss?

My husband is 71 years old and in good health. This morning I heard a noise after I got up and my husband had fallen out of the bed in my spare room. He was totally dressed and seemed confused as to when he had woken up, why he was dressed, and in the spare room. This has never happened before and he seems fine now but I was concerned and wondered if he should see his doctor.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. It would be better to have a checkup.
2. Meet a neurologist to get a mini mental examination. Test can confirm early Alzheimer's disease or other dementia, if present.
3. Single episode should not be serious. However, falling and confusion requires evaluation.
4. Hope he has no injuries due to fall Meet your doctor once for evaluation.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
