Is Monthly Banding Needed For Varices In Vein?

i am praveen dwivedi.my father aged 54years suddenly suffered from bloodvomiting on 31st december night..at once i admitted in hosipital.. where primary medicine had been given and ask to consult any gastro doctor..then i consult with a gastro dr..
he told that he needs a banding , as one vains get varices.. so he made endoscopy and band the varices of veins and ask to examine after one month.. i consult him again on 29th jan and he repeat the same banding proces again..
so i want to know.. will this banding process will repeat in a month

Yes, variceal bleeding for oesophageal varices, is a well-known procedure. Your doctor can do banding of another vein after a month.
