Is Migraine A Symptom Of UTI?

I have a confirmed UTI, I went to urgent care this morning. They dipped my urine, pos for nitrites, large blood and high white cell count. They prescribed Macrobid and Pyridium. I have a migraine now on about an 9 pain scale. Are migraines associated with UTI s? I have a slight fever of 99.4.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

No, but the migraine or headaches, in general, may be linked to infection by dehydration. Make sure to drink lots of fluid and try aspirin for a few days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
