Is It Safe To Take ON Gold Whey Protein Isolate When I Am G6PD Deficient?

Hello Doctor I am 35 years old, 84 Kgs, g6pd deficient. I have started going to gym and looking to take a protein supplement, specifically ON Gold Whey Protein Isolate. I will be taking 60 Gms a day. Please advice if I should take it. Last time when I was taking this protien, it did not have any impact but a month later when I changed my supplement and started eating sea food as well, I was diagnosed with hepatitis A. Thanks in Advance

Hi,

You can take whey ON gold whey protein safely. There is no harm, however, you should increase physical activity because BMI seems high, though I want to know your height for that. But you have to take caution for controlling weight and monitor blood sugar and blood pressure.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
