Is Change In Vision Correctable If There Is An Issue With The Brain Considering I Am A Breast Cancer Survivor?
I had a sudden change in vision this week accompanied by daily headaches. The opthomologist did not find cataracts or retinal issues. She did find an astigmatism and said the vision is correctable, my oncologist ordered a brain MRI as I am a BC survivor. If it was an issue with brain would vision be correctable? I wouldn't think so.
Change in power has nothing to to do with your past history of breast cancer. What ophthalmologist has advised is correct. Astigmatism can give rise to head ache. Use recent correction as recommended by eye doctor. It is possible in earlier refraction astigmatism was not detected or cylindrical power was not given since spherical was good enough. You will feel better after proper correction.
