Is Bleeding Normal While On Pradaxa Tablets?

Hi there, I am 21 years old, I had acute dvt in September 2014.. I am on pradaxa for blood thinning and also the pill.. I have been bleeding for 2 and half weeks is this normal for these tablets I am taking? I also still have a clot in my left thigh and my belly

I read your question and I understand your concern.

As Pradaxa is a blood thinning product it predisposed you to bleeding. While small amount of blood loss can happen when on the pill Pradaxa can cause more bleeding then usual, it is a negative side effect of the drugs, it is not normal.
So re-evaluation is necessary, perhaps you have to go off the pill for the moment as long as you're taking Pradaxa. You also need to be checked for the nature of the clots you describe.
