Is Abdominal Pain A Symptom Of Gallbladder Condition?

I have been getting extremely painful stomach aches that show up suddenly. They last for 5-6 hours at a time and I feel like throwing up during that time but I never throw up. I'll get the chills but no fever. My previous doctor thinks it might be my gallbladder. Do you agree with that conclusion?
