Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

A person can get infected through contact with blood, only if there is a break in their own skin or mucosal surface through which the infected organism in the blood can gain entry in the body. Otherwise, intact skin is a good protector and immune system also offers a line of defense.

So, in summary, the chance of getting an STI is low for both you and your partner, if both are healthy, in a single relationship with each other and no surface cuts or breaks.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sabina Hussain
