Is Neomycin-Polymyxin-Dexameth Eye Drop Safe While Allergic To Penicillin?

I am allergic to penicillin. My eye Dr. has prescribed an eye drop ( neomycin-polymyxin-dexameth 3.5mg/ml) to take 4 x a day for what appears to be a return of conjunctivitis in my left eye. I know that I am allergic to Neosporin ointment, so I never use it. Can I use this eye drop safely?
