Hello Thanks for query . Based on the facts that you have posted you had testicular pain and consulted your family physician who advised you to take Tab Martfur thrice a day . Testicular pain is mostly due to infection of either epididymis (Epididymitis)or Testicle (Orchitis) . . Martifur is a drug that contains Nitrofurantoin and is generally prescribed as an antibiotic in Genito Urinary infection . However I would suggest you to consult qualified urologist for clinical examination and get following tests done to confirm the diagnosis 1) Urine routine and culture. 2) Ultrasound scanning of the scrotum . In the mean while start taking antibiotics like Doxicyclin and anti inflammatory medication like Diclofenac twice daily .Continue taking Martifur twice daily , Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
