I'm 35 and have suspected EDS (see geneticist in April)

I'm 35 and have suspected EDS (see geneticist in April) but have almost all the typical symptoms of hEDS hyper mobile, thin, translucent skin, easy bruising, severe osteoarthritis, bilateral club foot,
chronic pain, severe spider veins in my thighs... today I was diagnosed via biopsy to have lichen sclerosus in the genital area, rectal, perianal, groin and abdomen areas. Since both disorders effect the skin, is there any correlation? Any special precautions I should take in treating the LS as to not put my skin at risk anymore?

you caught me off guard I am a 52 year old mom in a situation now that I m looking for some pain relief if my doctor doesn t get right. I just had a heart attack on January 5, 2014, it was due to stress and a lot of pain. M primary doctor suspected that I had EDS because of all the major health issuses I was having. Then my oldest son got real sick tested positive for EDs, but they had not been able to find anything until they got to my heart. my heart is not getting enough blood or oxygen, and they were able to say Ruth, you were right about the EDS, so I m going to keep your site saved, because in Frederick its too stressful trying to get any doctor to listen that knows nothing about this disease. Is that okay? We do ive in the Frederick area, and I don t want to die with out giving this disease a good fight. I ve already buried my 23 year old, and they believe he probably had the same thing just a different twist. My Name is Ruth E. Foreman. 2110 Whitehall Road #1D Frederick, MD 21702 (240)626-9627 Anything as far information on this disease to help us take care of our selves. I am interested in starting a support group on this end of Maryland. I would like to actually meet with a doctor who I m dealing with this disease, because I found out the hard way, and watched doctor s treat my son like because of the color of his skin. if its my last act, I m reaching out for help with dealing & coping with disease & helping others. Any input you have I would truly be blessed by it. Thanks Ruth

Hello, I am 38 years old and married with 4 kids. Recent scan shows that I have a 3.5cm cyst suspected to be endometrisis. I have yet to get my mense (2 weeks late but my period has always been irregular) so, could this cyst shrink or disappear once I got it? I am not pregnant. Thank you. Sue (Singapore)
