What Can The Problem Be That Leads To Consistently Low WBC Count?

I have consistently have a low white blood count between 2.2 & 2.8 over 4.4. My red blood count was also low but got on iron pills and it s now above average. i feel fine, exercise regularily and maintain a body wait between 188 & 191 pounds. When i drop below 186 pounds i look like a scare crow. i m 64.5 years old. I m diabetic (20 years) with my A1c at 5.7; and cholesterol, psa, renal & liver functions ok and within range. I m a sickle cell carrier not a sickler (inherited from mom). I take metaformin 500mg x2; lorsatine for kidney protection std dose 1x1, avorstatine 1x1; eluquis 5 mg 1x2 for experienced DVT and my multi-vits. What can the problem of my low WBC count.
