I have a persistent cough especially when I Talk. I thought it was a cold but it is not. I do not smoke or drink. The earlier part of the year I had bronchitis but was given cough meds and antibiotic. But, there is one thing. Where I work mosquitos were really bad this summer. Is there a chance I have west nile virus? I also get diarrhea about an hour after I eat (I had my gallbladder removed in 2001 though). Thank you.

Hi, I m 41 and have been having issues feeling something in my throat. Especially when I drink liquids or cough. I looked in my throat today and I can see my epiglottis in the back of my throat. Is that a cause for concern? It has been going for almost 2 months, maybe longer. Thank you

I had a terrible cold for a week at Christmas. Then another brief cold in mid January When I had the cold the coughing was uncontrollable. Every time I would time to talk more than a word or two the coughing would start it was difficult to calm it. Since then I can t shake the cough. I have been a teacher for 30 years and I rarely get the colds, viruses etc. by the end of the teaching day the coughing is interfering with the job. In the evening I just try not to talk. I am tired of cough drops, tea and honey. What can I do?

I have been coughing for 6weeks. I have had 2 rounds of antibiotic and feel ok but the cough is going away slowly. I have coughed so hard for so long that my ribs are sore all over but especially on the back left. When coughing a little while ago I heard a pop and have some worse pin in the area. I don t have trouble breathing and it doesn t hurt to breath. It hurts a lot to cough, sneeze, and to lie down. Could this be a cracked rib? I have Los been using as inhaler and Advil.
