I am an 18 year old female. I have been experiencing increasingly frequent episodes of involuntary muscle jerking for the past few months. They are often brought on by strong feelings of excitement or nervousness, but sometimes seem to occur randomly. Before these episodes, I always experience a
tingling feeling in my spine. I have been diagnosed with anxiety but have no other known conditions. What could be causing this?
