What Can Cause Body Imbalance Along With Muscle Pain In The Thighs And Lower Back?

I am a 65 year old female. I have fallen 7 times in the last few months. Some of the falls were caused by my puppy, but, I should have been able to recover my balance before I went completely down. Now I am experiencing overall muscle pain, especially in my thighs and lower back. I found out that one of the falls caused a Baker’s cyst behind my right knee. I also am experiencing severe pain in my right shoulder. I have also been dropping things a lot.

Hello,

You will need a good physical examination to determine if your problems are related to a neurological condition or due to a muscle-skeletal disease (arthritis).

The doctor may also ask for further tests such as brain MRI, joint x-rays, EMG or NCT to better determine the cause.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
