How To Test A Lump Like Feeling On The Right Side Of The Abdomen?

Hi there I was just wondering if you know what it could be if i have a lump along the right side of my lower abdomen that gets larger and smaller at times and causes some discomfort when stretching and when lying on my back. Kind of like a tube shape.

lump in the lower abdomen which is large sometime and smaller at other time us most probably a inguinal or abdominal wall hernia(which is protrusion of intraabdominal conetents through weak point in the abdominal wall).you should first consult a general surgeon.
