How To Manage Some Bladder Incontinence That Occurs When Exerting Myself On A Jump Rope?

Hello there, About a week ago, one of my coaches asked if I would add jump rope to my off season training to improve stamina. At first it was fine, but the past few days, I ve noticed that every time I jump hard, or for an extended period of time, I pee a little. Is this normal and is there any way to fix th is? Thank you

Good day! It is not normal for anyone to have leakage of urine during exertion. What you have is what we call stress incontinence and could be because of a pelvic organ prolapse or a weak muscles on the pelvis. I would suggest doing Kegel's exercises (please search for this online) about 10x per day for 3 months. What this would do is give back the strength of your pelvic muscles and you will be able to hold your urine during jump rope or any other stressful activities.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications at: http://www.HealthcareMagic.com/doctors/dr-manuel-c-see-iv/66014 I would gladly help you. Best wishes.
