How To Get Rid Of Thick Green Veins Popping Out Of My Legs?

i am 14 years of age and i have thick green vains popping out of my legs.I am very healthy and i run track, cross country, and i play basketball. I weigh 180 pounds and i also have little purple veins that are in the back of my thighs that are like little streaks. im sorta scared. what is it? please help!

Hello there,
Engorged veins in the legs are almost always due to venous hypertension.
You have to do a duplex of the lower limb which is affected to see if there's any problem that causes it.
-If none,then you can have injection sclerotherapy for engorged veins alone.
It's a simple procedure, and you can continue with thou regular activity as before.
- if duplex shows any perforator incompetence or junction incompetence then you may need a surgery to correct it..

But, you can try keeping your legs elevated at rest and use grade 2 compression stockings when walking or standing for long time.
