General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You may need to contact social services again for an assessment and also speak to a psychologist who may be able to assess her and the children.

The children may be in need of psychological counselling if abuse is present.

Family intervention meeting of all concerned persons may be needed.

I hope this helps

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Verbal and Physically abusing by a person is a psychological illness and needs to be dealt carefully in an addicted individual.
It is advisable to subject the individual to undergo de-addiction process and regular counselling sessions to overcome this problem.
Kindly consult Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist, who would be able to help you and do justice in this regard.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
