How To Cure Hot Flashes In The Body?

Dear Doctor, My Name is Lea age 58. I live across from the ocean in LA area and I suffer from terrible hot flashes for the past 8 years. I am a vegetarian, eat very healthy, no meat products, just occasional piece of salmon, never smoked, and I don t drink alcohol ever. My hot flashes are very frequent every hour on the hour day and night with no relief. They are worse at night because they wake me up and several times a night and totally mess up my sleep. I am throwing ice cold water on top of my clothes at home or the office to get some relief. I am apx. 107 lbs, 5 4 . I heard a couple days ago on the radio on one of Dr. Dean Edell s show that there is some herbal tea that will cure the hot flashes - that I can take and in 3 months my hot flashes will be gone. Can this miracle be true? - Please help me! - So much appreciate your time and great advise! - Miserable, Lea - email: YYYY@YYYY

Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello,

Hot flashes are the most common symptom of menopause and perimenopause. More than 2/3 of women experience hot flashes as they head into menopause.

The good news is that over time, they may become less frequent and less intense, or stop occurring altogether.

These are several Natural Hot-Flash Support Remedies that may be helpful to alleviate symptoms and build a path towards comfort and health.

I don't know what to say about the herbal tea you mention, but I suggest to try Balanced Femme.

This is a supplement that can be very helpful to reduce your hot flashes.

At the other side, I suggest trying a few lifestyle changes that can help reduce hot flashes, such as avoiding the following ‘triggers’:

Excessive stress, Caffeine, Alcohol, Spicy foods, Tight clothes, Heat and of course Cigarette smoke.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
