How Long Do Chalazion Normally Take To Drain Completely?
I recently visited an ophthamologist, and was diagnosed with a chalazion. He recommended surgery, but I decided to try apple cider vinegar before doing anything evasive. The chalazion formed a white head, and has now popped in two separate areas. There is quite a bit of drainage, but a lump is still there. How long do chalazions normally take to drain completely?
I reviewed your history. Chalazion is usually hard and it may not drain completely. This requires either incision and curettage or intralesional injection of steroid. But some small chalziins do respond for hot compression. They may respond in 1-2 weeks if responding.
Thank you
