Hello and thank you for asking HCM.
Mebex (
Mebendazole) is used for the treatment of gastrointestinal infestations of Threadworm, Pinworm , Whipworm, Large Roundworm. It is not used for a urinal tract infection. So if you don't have infestation of your intestine,i suggest you stop taking this medication,or at least talk with your doctor.
Also Flucan is an antifungal agent, used when there is a candida infection in your
urinary tract (
vaginal infection also, fungal infections of the mouth ec). Usually it is used 100-200 mg each day for 2 to 3 weeks, depending from age, symptoms, severity.
So the first product, Mebex is not for an UTI. Flucan can be used if candida is the cause of your infection.
It would be great if you gave me the results of your urine culture to see if your medication is correct or not.
I suggest you talk with your doctor for Mebex, since it is not used for UTI and give you some pain reliever for your symptoms.
Also here are some advices for you to help your immune system fight the infection:
-have plenty of liquids,2 to 3 liters per day
-fresh fruit juice
-don't hold your urine for long
-urinate always just after having sex
-For burning sensation you can use
ibuprofen.
