I was raped and was infected with chlamydia. I took the antibiotics but wanted to know how this would effect me in the future when I want kids? I had it for 6-8 months. I didn t get a PID. And have chlamydia that long is it possible that my reproduction organs are damaged and if so can they be healed?

Hey thanks for your faith in the health care magic.i have gone through your question and understood your problem.
A positive urine test for Chlamydia infection implies that infection with Chlamydia is present in the urinary tract.
A negative swab test does not rule out Chlamydia infection and a negative test is due to limitation of the test.
After completion of treatment for Chlamydia, you need to repeat the urine test for Chlamydia.
If negative, the infection is ruled out.
Hope I have answered your query. If you like my answers and wish me to answer in future, bring it to my attention
