Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Doctor, I am a 70 year old man. I was playing tennis thirty minutes ago when something felt like it popped in my left buttock. I was nearly unable to stand, however, I made my way over to a chair. The throbbing pain subsided somewhat and now it just feels sore, but I still can t put any pressure on my left side or walk very far. Your thoughts? Michael
considering your age and acuteness of your symptoms it may be a compact fracture of neck of femur. X-ray left hip may be done and consultation with an orthopedic surgeon is required.
