i’ve alwsys had uti’s my whole life, i have sma type 2 so i’m not new to them. they’ve gotten worse, if i take antibiotics they go away completely then come right back after they’re gone and i’m not sure why, i can always tell when i’m getting them because if i press onto my lower abdomen my pain comes back, my urine is cloudy with a smell, and it hurts to pee.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

* As per my surgical experience, the cause of recurrent UTI has to be evaluated and treated accordingly.

* In our clinic, I recommend a urine culture to complete the course of antibiotics, hydration management guidelines and CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis to look out for further issues.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
