How Can Pain And Pressure In The Vagina Be Treated?

I'm a 65 year old female, had a hystrectomy at 49, and ride dressage horses. I'm having vaginal pressure/pain now for a week. I think the seam in my breeches bruised me...I think? no bleeding or discharge or smell. So what can I do to help myself out.

Hi,

It may be due to vaginal atrophy which is quite common after menopause and is due to hormonal changes after attaining menopause. As a first line management you can try estrogen creams which is easily available over the counter and in case of persistent symptoms you may require hormone replacement therapy. In case of persistent symptoms, you can consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
