Hi, I m not very good at describing things but, sometimes I get a major dizzy spell, sometimes when I m in the shower, and sometimes at random, but when I get them I see lots of small little sparks in my eyes. flying around, only for a few seconds, can you please tell me what this is and how i could stop it from happening?

Hello. Thanks for asking on Healthcaremagic. From what you describe here it seems you are seeing floaters in your visual field. Our eyeball is a spherical structure where the behind wall has retina on the inner side. The eyeball is filled with a jelly like material called vitreous humor. This vitreous might have some degenerative changes in the collagen which might appear as specks or objects floating in the visual field. It simply occurs as an aging phenomenon. However it can also be caused by injuries to the eye, diabetic retinopathy or certain eye tumors. But most commonly it is an aging response.
