How Can Excessive Eye Discharge Be Treated?

Eye goop -- my ophthalmologist said my upper lid had some kind of goop. the condition started with a B. Can t find the paper she gave me, but treatment was hot compress on the eyes. Seems to be getting worse and I m trying to figure what to do.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

This sounds like style which is an inflammation of the gland in the eye and causes pus to accumulate. Not to worry. Add some antibiotics like Moxifloxacin eye drops and Serratiopeptidase tablets and hot fomentation and this should go in a week.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
