How Can Blurred Vision Be Managed After Vitrectomy?
12 days after vitrectomy for detached retina and vision still very blurry and things are magnified. I have previously had cataract surgery and lens placed in eye. Gas bubble doesn’t seem to be going away either. When I look down and then back up, there is visual distortion. Is all this normal? Can I expect normal vision to return? Thanks

The cause of blurred vision is to be diagnosed, clarity of vitreous is to be maintained, and subconjunctival steroid can be tried.
Consult retina surgeon and surgeon who has done vitrectomy refraction and error detected should be corrected. It appears to be having astigmatism and may be related to cataract surgery post-operative visual status may be reported.
