How Can An Itchy Red Callus In The Eyelid Be Managed?

I left my contacts in to long and ended up with a callus on the inside of my eyelid. I have had very minor incidents in past that go away in a few hours, pretty mild. This one is going on 2 days, and is still fairly scratchy and is red. I have used some solution and some Visine with only limited reduction in irritation. Any advice????

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It sounds like it could be infection, so I would advise you to use Moxifloxacin eye drops and artificial tear drops.

Hope it helps.
