How Can Acid Reflux Be Treated?

I am a 60 year old female, had a gastric bypass 11 years ago. No problems but started drinking wine a year ago excessively. I take omerprazole and vitamins daily. A few days ago I started waking up with heartburn in the morning, today I’ve had it all day. Nothing has helped.

Hello there.I have read through your question and would like to tell you that acid reflux can be managed by following a few instructions
1. Avoid eating anything two hours before you go to sleep
2. Avoid spicy and oily food
3. Avoid alcohol and caffeine
4. Drink lots of water atleast 3-4 litres in a day
5. Raise the head end of the bed with two pillows.
6. Continue taking cap omeprazole on empty stomach twice daily
Follow these instructions and I am sure you will see improvement within a week. If you have any other questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
