my sons father punched my son earlier today. he is 21years old. He just told me his ear is bothering him and I was just curious how to tell if there was damage that we should be concerned about. he is worried he ruptured his eardrum? what are the symptoms?

With a ruptured ear drum he would have a decrease in hearing in that ear, some pain and perhaps a blowing sort of sound in the ear. If he has pain he should see a doctor for an ear exam
