im a 48 year man in march 2013 i chack my sugar it was fasting 194 random 294 hb1c 9.2 weight 69 kg hight 5.3 fit i take treat ment and taken neodipar in repeat test random 135 fasting 100 hb1c 6.6 weight deresed now i want to gane some weight

BMI stands for body mass index, it looks at a persons weight for their height and determines if the weight is too much, too little or enough for a particular height.

For a height of 5 ft 3 in, the weight range (for a normal BMI) is 46 to 64 kg. If you are currently in this range then your weight is appropriate for your height.

If you gain excess weight then your blood sugar readings are likely to increase and may no longer be in control.

If you are below this weight range then you can consider regaining weight. In light of your diabetes, it would be best to speak to a nutritionist to find out what would be the best way to do this.
