History Of Eyesight Loss. Had Recent Injury. Need To Understand How Eyesight Changed

I am looking for a piece of mind
lost the sight in my left eye in 2003,
this spring at work I was hit in my right eye when disc (0000 rpm+)
exploded
my prescription was the same for the last 20 years
there has been a major change in in my prescription ,
the insurance doctors say, it is a national age thing
20 years with same prescription and over night I aged
please help me understand how my sight changed after the injury
and they can say it is my age

hello,
first of all what do you consider as major change? usually injury does not cause any change in preciprion unless its deeper one,when as the healing occurs there is change in corneal curvature which can induce cylindrical number.many times a change in prescription of 1D is not noticed. i hope this solves your query
